Chris comments... Last year when Mary came back and told me that she was going to sell magnets, I was more than a little sceptical. She thought it may help my wrist which I had broken the previous year and although recovered was painful when taking my full body weight, for example getting into a swimming pool. To be frank I could not see how putting a magnet on would help regain strength and mobility that the orthopaedic consultant at Leeds General Infirmary said I could not expect to regain at my age. Well, no miracle occurred overnight but the first thing I noticed was that my energy levels seemed higher and I seemed to recover from a long walk, I mean about 16 miles overnight rather than a couple of days as before. I overlooked the fact that my wrist was slowly improving. Perhaps it would have improved anyway with time but after a few months it no longer ca uses me any problems at all. I noticed an improvement in a chest condition I have had for many years. It is the first winter for a long time I have not had antibiotics for recurring bronchitis. I also used magnets to speed up an injury to my foot I incurred earlier this year. So I have moved from being sceptical and cynical to being so convinced that magnotheraphy can help that I joined my wife in the business. We even drink magnetised water and have a Thermoflow on our central heating boiler.
